DSE 2015: Electronic paper is the new trend to watch in digital signage

We visited the Digital Signage Expo in Vegas, the world’s largest trade show for innovative digital communications and technology solutions.

March 11-12 we visited the Digital Signage Expo in Vegas, the world’s largest trade show for innovative digital communications and technology solutions.

And while there were many amazing digital signage applications displayed on the DSE 2015 showroom floor, we found ourselves most excited about E Ink’s booth. And it wasn’t just because electronic paper was named one of the key technological trends we can expect to see in the digital signage industry in future.

E-paper development kits hit the Vegas strip!

Nope, we were thrilled because E Ink was, among other, showcasing our newly-launched 9.7’’ and 13.3’’ electronic paper development kits!

The e-paper turnkey solution combines e-paper displays from E Ink with our intelligent hardware and software platform for battery powered wireless digital signs with very low power consumption.

And we’re not the only ones who think the kits amazing: our partners agree. “Visionect’s 9.7” and 13.3” kits will provide E Ink’s signage customers with a quick turnkey solution to commercialize product concepts faster than what is currently possible,” said Harit Doshi, E Ink’s head of Signage Business. “We are cutting time to market and enabling a whole host of new signage applications.”
